New tape of Osama bin Laden warns Sunni Arabs not to fight al-Quaida and vows to expand the terror group’s holy war to Israel threatening “blood for blood, destruction for destruction.” The tape shows al-Qaida’s aim is to block democracy and freedom for all Iraqis.

The 1920 Palmer Raids
The bomb hit home, both literally and figuratively. On June 2, 1919, a militant anarchist blew up the front of the Attorney General’s home, just one in a series of attacks that spring. The ensuing response, a roundup of radicals called the Palmer Raids, was not our brightest hour.
