Utah Appeals Court: Provider Cannot Recover Coinsurance
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Court of Appeals on July 12 reversed summary judgment in favor of a hospital seeking coinsurance from a patient, saying that when a provider has been fully paid for its services, it does not have a basis to collect a sum in excess of what it already has received from the insurer (Ann V.
